I’ve only recently discovered the wonder boy, that is Canadian photographer Andrew B. Myers who works with simple compositions and colors that have a retro feel and look beautifully dreamy and nostalgic. Which I am sure if you have read this blog for while now, you would know- it is right up our street!
Toronto based photographer Andrew Myers was recognized in 2010 as one of the best emerging Canadian photographers by the Magenta Foundation. His compositions and colours are keys to his minimalist style. Photographing random 80s objects such as toys, vhs tapes, globes or old typewriters on simple, colorful backgrounds – the result is delightful!
Shot with a Canon 7D, all his digital photographs are then retouched to arrive to these beautiful color treatments.
Take a look and see for your selves, the man’s a genius!
