Art and fashion simultaneously work so well together and every so often we have clients who request that we do a little something special with their portfolios to outline their creative , playful and fun side. To help them envision their ideas we have a creative team add a touch of colour, line and texture to their imagery and the outcome is not only rewarding but inspiring for both our studio visitors and our art department.
An illustrator that has caught our eye recently is none other than Bernadette Pascua, a fashion illustrator and multidisciplinary artist based in New York who lives in Brooklyn with her partner, photographer Andrew Stinson and their Shiba Inu, Rocky.
Her client list is nothing short of impressive with W magazine, Vogue, French Glamour, Madewell and J Crew being but a few to mention, her work has a simplicity to it that leaves much to be desired and her clean approach to colour use and linear shapes left me wanting to own each and every illustration featured on her blog http://www.decadediary.com
We so enjoyed visiting her website and blog and the combination of photography and illustration seen throughout is incredibly exciting and interesting to take in visuall.
It’s official, we’re hooked on her work, see more of it here
And now for some of our personal favourites…..
All imagery and artworks by Bernadette Pascua.
